The Kershaw FreeFall is a tactically styled blade and a palm-gripping, ergonomic handle. The blade is a modified tanto with a hollow-ground and slightly curved belly for versatile cutting. The tanto tip is flat-ground for strength. 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with an easy-care stonewashed finish provides high performance at an affordable price.

The handle is contoured to fit the palm and is partially embossed with Kershaw’s new K-Texture grip for an extra secure hold. Heavy jimping on the blade back and on the lower part of the backspacer add to the grip power of this handsome knife. The backspacer has a built-in lanyard hole that's wide enough to accommodate thicker lanyards

The FreeFall also has a reversible and adjustable deep-carry clip. A screw on the knife butt enables you to mount the clip for left- or right-handed carry. Combined with tactical styling and a comfortable hand-fit, the FreeFall is an easy choice for tough piercing tasks as well as for everyday carry.

Kershaw budget knives are the best

I have 2 of these in my collection of EDC knives and being a $40 knife you cant go wrong. Was drawn to this knife in the first place by the blade. I was never a tanto fan but this modified tanto has a softer less angled blade with a beefy tip on it, looks and works great. Good size at 3.25 in. backed up by a good solid liner lock. The curved handle sits well in hand and feels good with scales that have lots of traction on them. Jimping for the thumb on the blade and at the the back of the handle is nice and provides an attachment point for a lanyard pull. The deep carry clip is the best, sits completely out of sight in your pocket, good job. In the company description of this knife it says the clip is reversible side to side which it is but it does not adjust in/out to tighten or loosen the clip to your pocket. The clip attaches to the end of the backspacer by a single screw and the other 2 holes in the clip sit on small posts at the end of the liners and this prevents twisting on the clip and the screw from coming loose and works well. It does not adjust in or out. My clip was a little tight in my jeans and I gave the clip a little pry out and problem solved. Great knife I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheaper well built knife.
