The Umarex Walther P38 is a blowback action BB pistol that fires up to 20 steel BBs from a stick magazine inserted into grip. While the CO2 is housed separately in the left side of the grip frame (by removing the left grip panel) the stick magazine looks right from the outside as it has a full size P38 floorplate. The airgun’s all metal construction along with the brown plastic grips, complete with a proper lanyard loop on the left panel, all adds to the authentic look, weight and balance in the hand. Walther collectors will love having an airgun that is almost indistinguishable from the 9mm original!

The Umarex Walther P38 Co2 pistol shoots hard for a blowback pistol and is fairly accurate.
I found a P38 replica WW2 German military leather holster on Amazon for $40, and the pistol fits perfectly and looks cool.
My P38 is louder than most Co2 pistols, and the blowback action simulates recoil very well. Although the recoil is nowhere near as strong as with the 9mm version, it is still snappier than I expected.
I would have preferred Umarex to have not decided on a glossy finish, but it does look sharp.
The plastic grips are not unlike the original "bakelite" grips.
