Knife designer Jersper Voxnaes named the Pilar folding knife after Ernest Hemmingway’s personal sailboat that he used for renegade surveillance of German U-boats in WWII. Much like the boat and the writer himself, the Pilar has an understated appearance that belies its tremendous potential. The blade is 2.4-inch sheepsfoot, designed for precise and powerful slicing and chopping. A large finger choil provides comprehensive blade control for detail oriented tasks. The heavy duty stainless steel handle has a frame lock that secures the blade with reliable force. A thin reversible pocket clip allows for tip-up or tip-down carry. Features: Blade Material: 8Cr13MoV, Blade Finish: satin, Handle Material: stainless steel, Overall Length: 150 mm (5.9 in), Blade Length: 61 mm (2.4 in), Handle Length: 89 mm (3.5 in), Weight: 119 g (4.2 oz)
