Its blade is fashioned from tried and true AUS-8 Japanese stainless steel that is resistant to stains and also easy to sharpen. The large drop point blade has a high full flat grind, and the stonewash finish helps hide any small nicks and scratches it might pick up during use. The Avispa has a simple handle design, with a green textured FRN scale over the stainless steel liner. With dual thumb studs, opening the Avispa is a breeze whether you're right or left-handed. The stainless steel frame lock is sturdy and secure, and disengaging is simple with the responsive lock bar. Out of the box the knife clip comes right side tip down but the pocket clip can be adjusted 4 ways to suit whatever carry style works for you.
