The Air Force Staff Sergeant Subdued patch represents the lowest Non Commissioned officer rank in the US Air Force. The main role of these sergeants is to improve and maintain their technical abilities and to supervise their subordinates work. The design of the patch of an Air Force Staff Sergeant is somewhat similar to the Senior Airman’s patch. It has three chevrons pointing downwards outlined in blue with a star encircled at the point. The only difference is that there is an additional curved chevron below the encircled star. The patch has been carefully embroidered and elegantly finished to give it an authentic look.
